Backyard Terrors and Dinosaur ParkThe owner is lovely! We found him in the shop and he took us on a behind-the-scenes tour of the carnival!

Backyard Terrors and Dinosaur ParkBackyard Terrors and Dinosaur Park in November 2017.
Backyard Terrors and Dinosaur ParkPark with life-size dinosaurs that is open year-round. No admission fee, but donations are greatly appreciated. The setting is on a wooded lot with pathways and dinosaurs lurking behind every turn. The dinosaurs are not plastic or paper mache, but almost real, lifelike skin. I thought this would a hokey place to visit, but I was surprised! My 25-year-old daughter and I went there as a lark, but we were greatly surprised how entertaining this was.

Backyard Terrors and Dinosaur ParkI don’t think it can be overstated that this is out in the middle of absolute nowhere. That being said, this is an amazing attraction. It’s all built in some guy’s backyard, but there are ton of amazingly crafted dinosaur figures. The tour even ends with an animatronic velociraptor display. Worth going out of your way for. The park goes on the honor system and you are welcome to roam the grounds unsupervised.
