Have you ever heard of Backyard Terror’s Dinosaur Park? It’s located in Bluff City, and is the extremely scientific yet wildly artistic creation of a local man and his love of dinosaurs. Whether you’re extremely into the idea of a raptor cage or simply want to infuse your afternoon with a bit of education, Backyard Terror’s is quite the wild ride. We’ll show you – it just takes a walk down the dino trail.

Admission is donation only, which means no worries about the moths in your wallet. The owner and dino creator is named Chris Kastner, and he created the park to both educate and entertain kids of all ages.

What’s here? Homemade, full-scale replicas of dinosaurs. Each one has a sign next to it that tells visitors all about the dinosaur. You don’t just look – you learn. And as you can tell, it’s quite impressive.

If dinosaurs aren’t your thing, there’s also a skeleton-crewed pirate ship to take a look at. Chris is extremely good at what he does, so the park is simply bursting with the industry of his art.

They even have a full-sized T. rex named Stan! Obviously not pictured. You have to visit for that, guys. We don’t want to ruin the surprise!

There’s another section of the park that’s called, “The Fun House.” It’s the haunted house area, based on an abandoned carnival – but you can just hang out with this triceratops if you’re not a fan. We’re good to hang here.

You can visit from 9am to 9pm every day. Yeah – every single day. If you’re looking for a dino infusion, you won’t have to wait long.

Would you make the trip?

With Halloween coming up, you should know that the park does a haunted house every fall, for a $10 admission price. It’s extremely popular!
